Master Thesis Simulation Programming
Location: QPAC Hamburg, Germany
The goal of this master thesis is to further develop a control surface hinge moment model for our Airbus Fly-by-wire and hydro-mechanical simulation for all aerodynamic surfaces on the Airbus A320 based on the known geometry and the corresponding empirical equations. QPAC will provide the corresponding literature. The surface hinge moment must be a function of:
- Airspeed, static pressure and temperature,
- Angle of attack, surface deflection
- In case of the elevator also the THS position.
Additionally to the hinge moment it is required to get an estimation of the control surface mass and rotational inertia about the hinge line.
From the industrial side, QPAC will support the paper in cooperation with Dresden University.
Further development of A320 X-Plane plug-in.
